Since I was a child, I have a deeply rooted passion for RPGs (Role Playing Games ) and if you are an anime person or a gamer, you probably have heard about "Overlord", a dark fantasy anime series based on its Japanese novel counterpart written by Kaguna Maruyama, or the game it based on "Dungeons and Dragons". The game in "Overlord" named "YGGDRASIL", it was an DMMO-RPG (Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game which mainly refer to Norse mythology and has nine seperate worlds where you could merge your self into the game world with little to none limitation of interaction. This shows the basic approach to design which is "Application" or other word " Bricolage" where things are created based on others with different mindset and point of view (Amy J.Ko).

However, the VR (Virtual reality) aspect was not the thing that out of world but the diversity of choices you could make in game that is tempting to player. Inside the systems, there are more than 700 races that requires certain ways to achieve, 2000 classes to enhance the powers, 6000 spells to choose within classes, diverse professions to help and make profits on the journey and much more from the RPG aspect like guilds, parties, items,... Not only that the game even provides special activities like world wars, your own customised NPC, wishes that may even break the game itself or gain the Administrator power and many more ingenious ideas that make the game like no others.

Nevertheless, this could create different experiences to players, as the game is focusing on players as individual than a whole like Western system and Eastern system (Emily, 2017) since one could destroy the whole games system if they meet the requirements. This, however, it is exactly what we should be looking for at a game where there should be none limitation to a player to do what ever they want in a game as long as he puts everything he has into searching for those requirements because game should be like real life, not the human abilities but human desires that is important to focus on and dig further into how to give them what they want that can not be done in life.

At the end, GAME was created by human and for human, and there are much more meanings behind what were written above but, in general, a game like "YGGDRASIL" had truely played the role of an RPG type of games and brought out the true potential of the world inside.
P/S: I sound like a nerd ( cause I am ^^ ) but if you are interesting in what exactly behind the game and words above, feel free to get in touch with me.
